GAIN has successfully opened its 10th Fair Price Shop in Bangladesh, now serving over 5,000 workers in Chattogram's RMG sector. This initiative ensures employees can purchase nutritious foods at up to 30% lower prices than market rates.
At the launch event, 3 factory owners pledged to introduce additional workforce nutrition programs. Studies show that well-nourished workers are 20% more productive and have 15% fewer sick days annually. GAIN plans to open 5 more Fair Price Shops by the end of 2025.
